About ROAM
ROAM is a website for a food truck, told in eight scenes. The truck drives into a golden-hour street, rocks to a stop, rolls up its shutter and switches on its lights. As visitors scroll, it sets off on a road trip through the city, past three stops, while the light turns to dusk.
Then comes the menu: dishes come forward on hover, the burger separates into its layers, and each dish opens to show ingredients, dietary labels, price and Add to order. The burger builds itself layer by layer as visitors scroll, the kitchen photos cross-fade with steam and heat shimmer, and a map shows this week’s three stops with addresses, hours and directions. Visitors can book the truck for an event, follow you on social media, and finish at a night scene with your last call to action.
You don’t need a developer. Open the included editor in your browser to change your name, colours, dishes, prices, photos, this week’s stops, social links and contact details, then download one file and put it online for free.

FAQ
Do I need to code?
No. Everything is changed in the editor, and publishing is a drag and drop.
Can customers order online?
Customers build an order list as they browse. Add your ordering link (Square, Toast, Shopify, Uber Eats, DoorDash or similar) and the list sends them there to pay. Without a link, customers show the list at the window.
Can people book the truck for events?
Yes. Connect Formspree or Netlify Forms and booking enquiries arrive by email. Until you connect one, the form is in preview mode and sends nothing.
How do I update where the truck is each week?
Open the editor and your saved site, fill in this week’s three stops in Find the truck, then download and publish again.
Can I use my own photos?
Yes, upload them in the editor. For dishes on the menu, a cut-out photo on a transparent background looks best.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. The editor has a phone preview, and visitors who turn on reduced motion see a calm version of every scene.
What does the $15 customization include?
Tick “Add customization” before you pay and we’ll make your changes for you, such as your truck’s name, colours, dishes, prices, photos or stops. After checkout, email us the details and we’ll reply to arrange them. Bigger projects may need a quote first; we’ll tell you before doing any extra work.
Can I use it for more than one website?
Each licence covers one website. Buy one licence for each site or client.
Do I need to register or create an account with The Food Aisle?
No. After you pay, your download appears straight away on the thank-you page and the link is also emailed to you.
Refunds?
Because this is a digital download, sales are final once downloaded, unless the file is faulty and we can’t fix it.
