NOIR licence
This is the same licence included as LICENSE.txt in your download.
NOIR WEBSITE TEMPLATE — LICENCE
The Food Aisle (thefoodaisle.com)
By buying NOIR you get a licence to use it. You do not buy the copyright,
which stays with The Food Aisle.
YOU MAY
- Use NOIR to build one website for one restaurant, café, bar or food business
(one licence per website).
- Change anything in it: text, colours, layout, code and photos.
- Build the website for a client. The licence then passes to that client, and
you may not reuse the template for another site without another licence.
- Keep using the website for as long as you like. The licence does not expire.
YOU MAY NOT
- Resell, give away, share or upload NOIR, or any version of it, as a template,
theme, starter kit or part of a website builder, whether changed or not.
- Use the included photos outside the website built
with this licence, or sell or distribute them on their own.
- Remove this licence from the downloaded files.
INCLUDED THIRD-PARTY FILES
- Fonts in assets/fonts: Bodoni Moda, Jost, Cormorant Garamond, Manrope,
Gloock, Karla, Italiana and Outfit, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1
(https://openfontlicense.org). You may keep using them under that licence.
THE INCLUDED IMAGERY
The photos are AI-generated images created for NOIR. They show the style the
template is designed for. Replace them with photographs of your own food and
rooms so that guests see what you actually serve.
YOUR CONTENT
You are responsible for the menus, prices, allergen information and booking
details you publish. Check every allergen line with your kitchen before going
live. Reservation requests are delivered by the service you connect (for
example Formspree, Netlify or your booking platform); their terms apply to
that data.
NO WARRANTY
NOIR is provided as is. The Food Aisle is not liable for lost bookings,
revenue or data arising from the use of the template or connected services.
If a file is faulty, contact us and we will fix or replace it.
Because NOIR is a digital download, sales are final once downloaded unless
the file is faulty and we cannot fix it.
